I am so excited to be here. I saw a friend yesterday, hoping to see another today, and I'm already feeling better. I have seen human life! It's so nice.

Last night was interesting. Because all of my stuff is still in bags and suitcases mostly, I only have one pair of shoes out: my 6" knee high platforms. So I've been wearing those with my pajama pants, and I gotta say, I feel a little silly. When I left I had just done laundry, so I was still wearing my pirate shirt.
So after I leave my friend's house last night, I head over to the Fry's shopping center. After we get groceries, we walk outside to find a stray shepherd-lab dog. It was easy to tell he was hungry, and I felt horrible.. so naturally, being me, I follow the dog. I'm trying to keep it out of the road, and here comes this giant white SUV type-thing (I'm bad at most cars), and the dog starts to head for the road it's on. I freak out and run into the middle of the road right in front of this huge vehicle going way too fast in a parking lot to protect this dog, spread myself out stop-the-train style and stand about ten feet away from where this thing is just about to be. I swear this thing stopped three feet in front of me, probably because of the speed bump (thank goodness). The dog just sort of pranced away, but the people were probably thinking, "Christ, I almost hit... a pirate?"
I didn't realize just how stupid that was until I walked away from the tiny scene, but I had to protect the puppy. d:
I called 911, and they gave me a non-emergeny number to report the lost dog, and it was out of service! So I talked to the security gaurd sitting right there watching this poor dog lift empty bags, looking for food, and ask if there's any number he can call or something. He says "Oh, that dog lives right over there, he's been here every night for the past week and a half."
I'm thinking, "AND YOU AREN'T DOING ANYTHING?!" Frst off, whether this dog is harmless or not, they don't know. There are children around a starving, scared GERMAN SHEPHERD. They are strong dogs, and tiny children aren't to see anything but a fluffy puppy. Two, it's a starving, scared, homeles puppy!! COME ON, man! I wanted to take him home. ;~;

Well.. first time I ever call 911, and it's for a doggy. Lulz.

Had to tell that story, I'm still all mad at the security guy. >.<

Anyway, the internet here is terrible, so I can't get on as much as I did. I'll try to often.
REALLY excited to see some friends, especially in October. I miss the brothers. d:
